ABB announced a substantial investment of $120 million to expand its manufacturing operations across two key facilities in the United States. This capital injection aims to meet increasing demand for its advanced electrical products.
A $40 million investment will double the footprint of ABB's Senatobia, Mississippi, facility. This expansion is specifically targeted at increasing the production of advanced low voltage circuit breakers for North American customers.
Additionally, ABB will invest $80 million to construct a new 320,000 square foot facility in Selmer, Tennessee. This new factory is projected to boost the company's overall production capacity by more than 50 percent, enhancing its ability to serve critical markets.
