ProFrac Holding Corp. and Seismos announced a strategic partnership to introduce Closed Loop Fracturing across all major U.S. basins. This initiative marks the first large-scale deployment of an extensively operator-validated, real-time quality control system for fully automated fracturing.
The system integrates ProPilot's surface automation with Seismos' subsurface intelligence, aiming to deliver more control to operators through dynamic completion design that optimizes hydrocarbon recovery. This technology is designed to redefine how completions are measured, optimized, and scaled.
ProFrac and Seismos are offering two deployment models: Supervised Mode, which allows engineers to optimize in real-time using continuous subsurface data, and Unsupervised Mode, which enables the system to execute pre-defined decisions based on real-time responses, reducing overhead and increasing operational speed.
