Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR) announced today that it will conduct public flights of its all‑electric Midnight eVTOL aircraft on October 4‑5 at the 2025 California International Air Show held at Salinas Municipal Airport in Salinas, California.
The announcement marks the first public demonstration of the Midnight platform, following a series of record flight‑test achievements that included two of the aircraft’s highest altitude flights to date (7,000 and 10,000 feet) and a 55‑mile piloted flight. The public flights will showcase the aircraft’s ability to perform rapid back‑to‑back trips with minimal charge time, a key capability for future urban air‑taxi operations.
The show will also feature the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron’s Blue Angels, the USAF F‑16 Viper Demo team, and other aircraft, positioning Archer’s Midnight alongside established military and civilian aviation performers and underscoring the company’s progress toward FAA certification and commercial deployment.
