ACI Worldwide and Co-op, a leading U.K. convenience retailer operating approximately 2400 stores, announced the extension of their strategic technology partnership. Under the renewed agreement, Co-op will continue to utilize the full suite of solutions offered by ACI’s Payments Orchestration Platform. This includes in-store, online, and mobile payment processing, as well as end-to-end payments and fraud management.
The partnership highlights ACI's role in supporting Co-op's innovative payment initiatives, such as the use of ACI’s point-to-point encryption and tokenization technology for payment data security. In 2024, Co-op successfully migrated its entire payments and fraud prevention software stack to ACI's multi-tenant cloud platform, hosted in Microsoft Azure. This migration provides enhanced scalability, security, and data protection for the retailer.
