ACI Worldwide Reports Q2 2025 Results and Raises Full-Year Guidance

ACI Worldwide announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2025, reporting revenue of $401 million, a 7% increase from Q2 2024. Recurring revenue grew 13% to $322 million, representing 80% of total revenue. Net income for Q2 was $12 million, compared to $31 million in Q2 2024, while adjusted EBITDA was $81 million, down 13% year-over-year, reflecting the timing of higher-margin license contracts.

For the first half of 2025, revenue was $796 million, up 15% from the first half of 2024, with recurring revenue up 11% to $607 million. Adjusted EBITDA for the first half increased 24% to $175 million. The Payment Software segment grew 18% and the Biller segment grew 13% over the first half of 2024. The company repurchased 2.4 million shares for $119 million in Q2, with $223 million remaining on the authorization.

Given the robust performance across the business, ACI Worldwide raised its full-year 2025 revenue guidance to a range of $1.710 billion to $1.740 billion, up from the previous $1.690 billion to $1.720 billion. Adjusted EBITDA guidance was also raised to $490 million to $505 million, from $480 million to $495 million. For Q3 2025, the company expects revenue between $460 million and $470 million and adjusted EBITDA between $155 million and $165 million.
