Craig Ramsey, ACI Worldwide's Head of Real-Time and Account-to-Account Payments, has been elected to serve on the U.S. Faster Payments Council’s (FPC) Board of Directors. Ramsey will represent the Technology Providers segment for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2025. He previously served on the FPC Board Advisory Group and chairs a sub-group within the FPC’s Financial Inclusion Work Group.
Ramsey has over 30 years of experience supporting banks with corporate payments and banking needs, including major industry initiatives like SWIFT upgrades, SEPA, PSD2, and the global launch of real-time payments. In the U.S., he has played a crucial role in ACI’s efforts to support financial institutions with real-time payments processing, connecting to the FedNow Service, The Clearing House’s RTP network, and Zelle.
Reed Luhtanen, Executive Director and CEO of the FPC, welcomed Ramsey, noting his significant experience in building solutions that have increased real-time payments adoption in the United States. ACI Worldwide powers 26 domestic and pan-regional real-time schemes across six continents, including 11 central infrastructures, and serves all 10 of the world’s largest financial institutions.
