AECOM announced today the appointment of Jill Hudkins as chief executive of its new Water & Environment Advisory global business line. This appointment and the formation of the new advisory business are key milestones in the company’s growth strategy.
The new business line will focus on advising clients through complex water and environmental management challenges, leveraging AECOM’s existing technical leadership. It aims to expand capabilities in high-growth areas such as advanced digital water asset management, environmental permitting, and PFAS remediation.
AECOM expects this Water & Environment Advisory business to double within three years from its current $200 million annual net service revenue, becoming the company's next $1 billion platform. This growth is anticipated to occur at higher margins, underpinning confidence in exceeding long-term margin targets.
