Private sector employment in the U.S. picked up pace in March, with 155,000 new positions added to the economy. This figure is a sharp increase from the 84,000 jobs reported in February, according to the ADP National Employment Report. The report indicated a rebound in the manufacturing sector, which added 21,000 jobs last month. The services sector also showed recovery from a slow February, with professional and business services alone adding 57,000 new positions. Nela Richardson, ADP's chief economist, highlighted that the March job numbers were positive for the economy and employers of all sizes.
