AerCap Holdings N.V. published its eighth annual Corporate Responsibility Report for the year ended December 31, 2024, outlining its commitment to responsible and sustainable business growth. The report highlights the company's efforts in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.

A significant announcement in the report is AerCap's new ambitious target to achieve approximately 85% new technology assets by 2030, encompassing aircraft, engines, and helicopters. This target builds on the company's achievement of its prior 75% new technology aircraft target in April 2025.

In 2024, AerCap invested approximately $55 billion in new technology aircraft over the last decade, contributing to a 17% reduction in gCO2 per seat/km across its fleet. The company also improved its Scope 3 emissions intensity by approximately 2% and mitigated 100% of its unavoidable Scope 1, 2, and 3 (business travel) emissions.

The company's strong ESG focus has been acknowledged by ratings agencies, maintaining an 'AA' ESG rating from MSCI and an improved 'Low Risk' rating from Sustainalytics in May 2024. These efforts underscore AerCap's leadership in fleet modernization and its commitment to supporting the aviation industry's decarbonization journey.
