Aeva Technologies announced on December 17 that it will showcase a passenger‑OEM vehicle equipped with a windshield‑integrated 4D LiDAR and will debut its new Atlas Ultra sensor at CES 2026, scheduled for January 6‑9 in Las Vegas.

The Atlas Ultra sensor is a slim, long‑range, high‑resolution FMCW LiDAR that delivers a 150‑degree field of view, a detection range of up to 500 meters, and instant velocity detection, enabling Level 3 automated driving at highway speeds. The sensor will be mounted behind the windshield of the demo vehicle, demonstrating the company’s ability to integrate advanced perception into a production‑grade chassis.

Aeva has already secured production customer wins with Daimler Truck and a leading European passenger‑automaker, and it has formed strategic partnerships with Wideye by AGC for windshield integration, LG Innotek for manufacturing capacity, and D2 Traffic for smart‑infrastructure solutions. These relationships position the company to accelerate market adoption of its “Physical AI” platform across automotive, robotics, and infrastructure safety applications.

The CES 2026 demo marks a key milestone in Aeva’s commercialization roadmap, expanding its perception platform beyond traditional automotive LiDAR and opening new revenue streams in factory automation and smart‑infrastructure safety. By showcasing the sensor in a real vehicle, Aeva signals progress toward broader market penetration and the scaling of its production capabilities.

CES 2026 will be held in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center at booth #6919. The announcement follows Aeva’s 2025 CES showcase of the Atlas Ultra sensor and comes after the company’s recent $100 million convertible senior‑note financing and record Q2 2025 revenue of $5.5 million, underscoring its focus on scaling production and commercialization.
