Allied Gaming & Entertainment Inc. (AGAE) announced a CEO transition aimed at accelerating strategic growth and innovation. Yangyang (James) Li, previously the company's President and Chairman of the Board, has been unanimously appointed Chief Executive Officer of AGAE, effective immediately.
Yinghua Chen, the former CEO of AGAE, will transition to serve as Chief Executive Officer of Allied Esports International, a wholly-owned subsidiary. In this role, Ms. Chen will focus on advancing Allied’s content strategy, including the development and integration of global animation IPs and gaming assets.
As the new CEO, Mr. Li will lead AGAE in solidifying its core strengths in gaming and immersive entertainment, while actively pursuing the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) and exploring deeper integration of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies within entertainment and gaming. This leadership change underscores a commitment to innovation and global expansion.
