American International Group, Inc. (AIG) announced that John Neal will join the company as President, effective December 1, 2025. In this role, Mr. Neal will report to Chairman & CEO Peter Zaffino.
Mr. Neal will lead AIG's General Insurance organization, which encompasses the North America Commercial Insurance, International Commercial Insurance, and Global Personal Insurance businesses. He will also become a member of AIG's Executive Leadership Team.
Previously, Mr. Neal served as CEO of Lloyd's of London from October 2018 to January 2025, where he is credited with leading its successful turnaround. His extensive experience, including as Group CEO of QBE, is expected to drive AIG's General Insurance strategy and performance.
