Arteris, Inc. announced on October 21, 2025 that 2V Systems has licensed the company’s Ncore 3 cache‑coherent interconnect IP and FlexNoC 5 non‑coherent interconnect IP for use in a server IO chiplet designed for multi‑die, high‑performance, cost‑effective RISC‑V‑based SoCs that target data‑center and cloud AI workloads.
The deal marks Arteris’s first entry into the IO chiplet market, a critical component for scaling compute across heterogeneous chiplets. By providing the high‑bandwidth, low‑latency, and low‑power connectivity required for AI data‑center workloads, the partnership positions Arteris to capture a new revenue stream and strengthen its presence in the growing multi‑die SoC ecosystem.
CEO K. Charles Janac said the collaboration will “serve to effectively integrate heterogeneous chiplets into SoCs that address the needs of AI data centers,” underscoring the strategic importance of the licensing agreement for Arteris’s expansion into high‑performance data‑center applications.
