Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD), a subsidiary of Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX), announced on October 28, 2024, that it achieved significant cost reductions in its Generation 4 product lineup during Q3 FY2025. These optimizations were a result of strategic manufacturing improvements implemented by RAD.
Initially, Generation 4 products, including AVA Gen 4, ROSA Gen 4, and RIO Gen 4, were approximately 22% more expensive than their Generation 3 counterparts due to advanced technology integration and lack of initial quantity discounts. However, through streamlined production and enhanced supply chain efficiencies, the cost difference has been reduced to approximately 10% more than Generation 3.
To maintain targeted gross margins, RAD issued a product-wide price increase of approximately 12%. CEO Steve Reinharz emphasized the company's dedication to both innovation and operational excellence, ensuring that advanced features are introduced while maintaining cost efficiency and competitive pricing for clients.
