This partnership will deliver Micro-Segmentation Implementation Services utilizing Akamai Guardicore Segmentation. Kyndryl teams worldwide are certified to provide implementation and managed services for Akamai Guardicore Segmentation under the Guardicore certified Service Provider (GcSP) program.
This collaboration aims to help customers accelerate their Zero Trust implementations and address the growing sophistication of cyber threats. Akamai Guardicore Segmentation will complement Kyndryl Zero Trust Services, bolstering capabilities and solving customer challenges within their unique network contexts. An Akamai study indicated a 143% increase in total ransomware victims globally due to zero-day and one-day vulnerabilities, with 93% of respondents deeming microsegmentation critical for ransomware defense.
The combined expertise of Kyndryl's consulting and Akamai's technology offers customers a more seamless option for designing, accelerating, and achieving their Zero Trust, segmentation, and network security objectives. This service helps increase cyber resiliency by limiting lateral movement of threats and securing organizational assets through robust authentication and real-time, risk-based access policies.
