Alarm.com announced support for Apple CarPlay® on July 29, 2025, extending its smart home control features directly to Apple users’ car displays. This integration allows iPhone users to manage key security and automation features seamlessly and safely from their vehicle.
This new capability builds on Alarm.com’s existing Android Auto™ support, further expanding the connected home experience beyond traditional screens. Customers can now arm/disarm their security system, lock/unlock doors, and open/close garage doors with a simple tap on their car's interface.
The integration also leverages Alarm.com Places for automated routines, adjusting lights, locking doors, and managing thermostats based on the phone’s location. This enhances convenience and ensures users can stay informed and in control while on the road.
