EnergyHub, an independent subsidiary of Alarm.com, announced a partnership with GM Energy on April 2, 2025. This collaboration aims to integrate GM’s electric vehicles and home energy storage solutions into EnergyHub’s network of utility and market programs across the U.S.
Eligible owners of Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac electric vehicles or GM Energy’s PowerBank stationary storage system will be able to participate in EnergyHub-managed utility programs. These programs offer financial incentives to customers while enhancing grid reliability and lowering energy costs.
The partnership enables smart or managed charging functionality, optimizing EV charging schedules to support grid stability. Additionally, GM Energy PowerBank home battery systems will support both backup power needs and grid stability during peak times, providing financial benefits to participants.
