Allianz X announced a joint venture with AlTi Global, Inc. on November 4, 2024, to form a strategic partnership with Allianz Global Investors. This collaboration aims to create a leading private markets offering specifically for the ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) wealth segment.
Through this joint venture, AlTi and AllianzGI will launch a private markets investment program, allowing UHNW clients to invest alongside Allianz's balance sheet. This program provides access to leading third-party managers, significant scale benefits, low minimum ticket sizes, and expanded investment opportunities, including secondaries and co-investments.
The program will initially focus on the approximately $1.5 trillion global private debt market, leveraging AllianzGI’s 25-year track record and the Allianz Group's position as one of the largest private debt investors worldwide with approximately $150 billion allocated to the sector. This partnership is expected to drive the democratization of private markets for AlTi's UHNW client base.
