Amcor Reports Q2 and First Half Fiscal 2025 Results, Reaffirms Full-Year Outlook

Amcor plc reported its second-quarter and first-half fiscal 2025 results on February 4, 2025, reaffirming its full-year guidance. For the second quarter, net sales were $3,241 million, in line with the prior year on a reported basis, while adjusted EBIT grew by 5% on a comparable constant currency basis to $363 million. Adjusted diluted EPS also increased by 5% to 16.1 cents per share.

For the first half of fiscal 2025, net sales were $6,594 million, a 1% decrease on a reported basis. Adjusted EBIT for the first half increased by 4% on a comparable constant currency basis to $728 million, and adjusted diluted EPS grew by 5% to 32.2 cents per share. The adjusted EBIT margin improved to 11.0%, a 40 basis point increase over the prior year.

Amcor reaffirmed its adjusted EPS outlook for fiscal year 2025, expecting it to be in the range of $0.72 to $0.76 per share. The company also declared a quarterly cash dividend of 12.75 cents per share. Net debt stood at $6,496 million at December 31, 2024, with leverage at 3.3 times, in line with expectations.
