Amplitude Launches AI‑Powered Customer‑Feedback Engine, Strengthening Platform and Revenue Growth

Amplitude unveiled its AI‑Feedback engine, a new customer‑feedback platform that uses a proprietary large‑language model to convert unstructured reviews, support tickets and social‑media comments into prioritized, actionable insights. The tool is designed to integrate directly with Amplitude’s core analytics, session‑replay and Guides & Surveys products, allowing teams to surface sentiment, identify pain points and act on findings without leaving the platform.

The announcement came alongside Amplitude’s Q3 2025 financial results. Revenue rose 18% year‑over‑year to $88.6 million, while annual recurring revenue climbed 16% to $347 million. The company reported a widening net loss of $0.18 per share versus $0.14 in the same quarter a year earlier, and non‑GAAP operating income fell to $0.6 million from $1.6 million. Free cash flow slipped to $3.4 million from $4.5 million, reflecting higher investment in research and development, which now accounts for 19% of revenue.

Revenue growth was driven by strong demand for Amplitude’s core analytics and the new AI capabilities, including the recent Kraftful acquisition that bolstered its customer‑feedback stack. The widening loss, however, is largely attributable to increased R&D spend and the capital outlay required to scale the AI platform, a trade‑off the company views as necessary for long‑term competitive positioning.

Management highlighted the strategic importance of the new engine. Yana Welinder, Head of AI, said, “AI Feedback provides clarity into what customers really want – all in one place,” underscoring the value of consolidating disparate feedback sources. CEO Spenser Skates added, “AI is changing how software gets built. Our AI analytics platform helps companies understand how people engage in their product, and we are all in.”

While the product launch itself did not trigger a distinct market reaction, Amplitude’s Q3 earnings beat analyst expectations, with revenue exceeding estimates by 6.4% and a 15.8% year‑over‑year increase. The positive earnings outlook helped reinforce investor confidence in the company’s AI strategy, even as profitability remains a work in progress.

The AI‑Feedback engine positions Amplitude to deepen product adoption and accelerate revenue growth by providing a unified, AI‑driven view of customer sentiment. By integrating feedback analysis into its analytics suite, Amplitude aims to outpace legacy competitors and capture a larger share of the growing product‑intelligence market, while the company’s continued investment in AI signals a long‑term commitment to innovation.
