The company stated that the sale aligns with its disciplined approach to capital allocation and its commitment to driving value creation for shareholders. Northwest Polymers was acquired by Atkore in 2022, alongside Cascade Poly Pipe & Conduit.
Atkore confirmed that the divestiture of Northwest Polymers does not affect its continued operations for High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) products. These HDPE products primarily serve the telecommunications, utility, and datacom markets, which remain a part of Atkore's core business.
