authID Inc. announced on July 31, 2025, the launch of authID Identity Exchange (IDX), a next-generation platform designed to eliminate enterprise identity blind spots. IDX modernizes identity management with biometric-bound, passwordless, and interoperable digital credentials to stop phishing attacks and ensure only verified users access sensitive systems. This platform was developed in strategic partnership with NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation (NESIC). IDX allows authorized personnel to create or claim a central credential usable across multiple subsidiaries of a large enterprise, simplifying workforce identity management. The platform aims to eliminate ghost accounts and shared credentials, automate onboarding through secure document verification, and extend protections to all employees and contractors. It also helps reduce identity-related IT support costs and ensures compliance with global data security and privacy regulations. Rhon Daguro, CEO of authID, stated that IDX redefines how identity verification should work in a Zero Trust world, emphasizing unphishable, privacy-first, frictionless security. IDX is the first enterprise platform built on the Accountable Digital Identity Association (ADI Association) specification, ensuring alignment with global interoperability and data sovereignty standards. Osamu Kikuchi of NESIC expressed excitement about expanding this vision globally, building on their Japanese Identity Exchange.
