Broadcom Inc. reported record financial results for its second fiscal quarter of 2025, with total net revenue of $15.004 billion, a 20% increase year-over-year, surpassing analyst estimates. Adjusted EBITDA reached $10.001 billion, or 67% of revenue, reflecting strong operating leverage. Net income for the quarter was $4.965 billion, or $1.03 per share, a 134% increase from $2.121 billion, or 44 cents per share, in the prior year. The Semiconductor Solutions segment generated $8.408 billion in revenue, up 17% year-over-year, driven by AI semiconductors. AI semiconductor revenue exceeded $4.4 billion, growing 46% year-over-year, with AI networking showing significant momentum. The Infrastructure Software segment delivered $6.596 billion in revenue, a 25% increase year-over-year, fueled by VMware Cloud Foundation subscription conversions. For the third fiscal quarter of 2025, Broadcom guided for consolidated revenue of approximately $15.8 billion, a 21% increase year-over-year, exceeding expectations. AI semiconductor revenue is projected to accelerate to $5.1 billion, marking ten consecutive quarters of growth. The company generated a record $6.411 billion in free cash flow in Q2. Consistent with its capital allocation strategy, Broadcom returned $7.0 billion to shareholders, comprising $2.8 billion in cash dividends and $4.2 billion in stock repurchases.
