AvePoint expanded its Azure data protection capabilities within its Elements product, part of the Confidence Platform, adding safeguards for virtual machine and storage backups, performance‑optimization recommendations, misconfiguration detection, and anomaly monitoring across Azure workloads.

The company also announced a partnership with the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP), the world’s leading professional association for Microsoft partners. IAMCP represents more than 5,000 individuals from nearly 2,000 organizations in over 40 countries, and the alliance will provide joint go‑to‑market resources, co‑sell opportunities, and shared technical expertise to accelerate Confidence Platform adoption among Azure customers.

The Azure enhancements build on AvePoint’s earlier introduction of Azure data recovery for Virtual Machines, Active Directory, and Storage in its Cloud Backup solution in June 2022. By integrating these capabilities into Elements, AvePoint targets managed service providers with new recurring revenue streams and a stronger security posture for their end‑customers.

In addition to Azure, the Confidence Platform now protects a broader set of applications, including Monday.com, DocuSign, Smartsheet, Okta, Confluence, and Google Cloud Platform VMs, while continuing to support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Salesforce.

The announcement comes amid a forecasted $595 million growth in managed services revenue (+13% YoY) driven by AI and security demands, and a 39% year‑over‑year increase in Microsoft Azure revenue for 2025. AvePoint’s expanded platform and channel integrations position it to capture a larger share of the cloud‑native data governance market.

The company also highlighted additional marketplace integrations with ALSO, Ingram Xvantage, TD Synnex StreamOne Ion, and Arrow Arrowsphere, reinforcing its strategy to empower partners and expand its global channel business.

Overall, the expansion and partnership signal AvePoint’s commitment to delivering a unified, cloud‑native solution that protects data across the most widely used SaaS and IaaS environments, while supporting the AI‑driven workplace and enhancing partner capabilities.
