Axon Enterprise, Inc. announced that it has secured two new multi‑million dollar contracts, one with the Kennewick Police Department in Washington for $10.6 million over ten years and another with the Evanston Police Department in Illinois for $5.8 million over seven years, bringing the total value to $16.4 million.

The agreements cover Axon’s body‑worn camera system, drone technology, and its AI‑powered software suite, including real‑time translation and automated report drafting. By bundling hardware with subscription‑based services, the contracts reinforce Axon’s recurring‑revenue model and extend the company’s presence in key U.S. markets.

These wins come on the heels of Q3 2025 results that saw revenue rise 31% year‑over‑year to $711 million, driven largely by the Software & Services segment. The new contracts add a predictable, long‑term revenue stream that aligns with the company’s strategy of leveraging AI to win large public‑safety contracts and to accelerate its transition to a software‑centric business.

CEO Rick Smith said the deals demonstrate the market’s confidence in Axon’s AI platform and its ability to win large public‑safety contracts. “We’re in an amazing position to take advantage of the AI era,” Smith said, noting that AI services are expected to become a meaningful contributor to bookings.

The contracts extend Axon’s footprint in the public‑safety sector and provide a stable, multi‑year revenue base that supports the company’s long‑term growth trajectory and its focus on high‑margin software and services.
