Axon announced that Loomis US, a leader in cash distribution, is equipping its vehicle armored service technicians with Axon Body 4 cameras. This deployment is part of Loomis's ongoing efforts to improve safety and transparency across its operations. The initiative includes more than 2,000 body-worn cameras and licenses to Axon's digital evidence management system, Axon Evidence.
Loomis operates nearly 200 branch locations, employs 11,000 individuals, and manages over 3,300 vehicles across the U.S., providing cash-handling services to financial institutions and commercial businesses. The deployment aims to create a safer working environment for technicians, enhance operations with real-time situational awareness, and increase transparency for pick-ups and deliveries with customers.
Early trials of the Axon Body 4 cameras have demonstrated increased visibility for clients and a reduction in claim errors. The ability to provide a credible record helps ensure a high level of service and quick resolution of incidents. In the event of an incident, footage can be seamlessly shared with law enforcement via Axon Evidence, maintaining a secure chain of custody for investigations.
