Booz Allen Hamilton Awarded $315 Million U.S. Air Force Contract for Advanced Battle Management System Prototype

On July 22, 2025, Booz Allen Hamilton announced it was awarded a $315 million contract with a maximum performance period of up to five years. The contract is for the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Distributed Battle Management Node (DBMN) Phase II Tactical Operations Center-Light (TOC-L) prototype for the Department of the Air Force.

Booz Allen is partnering with L3Harris Technologies for this rapid prototyping effort, which aims to enable Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2). The TOC-L system is designed to enhance tactical decision-making through rapid relocation and deployment of command and control capabilities.

The prototype will utilize Booz Allen’s Modular Detachment Kit (MDK) concept to securely connect sensors, decision makers, and weapons at the edge. This significant contract win reinforces Booz Allen’s position as a leader in delivering advanced technology solutions for critical national defense missions.
