On April 9, 2025, the Los Angeles Parks Foundation announced a $1 million donation from FireAid for the restoration of the Pacific Palisades Playground, which was damaged in the Southern California wildfires in January. Banc of California's Wildfire Relief & Recovery Fund provided an additional donation, bringing the total support for the playground to over $1.3 million. The funds, including Banc of California's contribution, will facilitate an expedited restoration and modernization of the playground. The project aims to complete the work in time for the July 4th holiday, providing a revitalized recreational space for the community. The new play areas will be fully accessible and include integrated shade. This contribution from Banc of California's fund demonstrates the bank's ongoing commitment to supporting communities affected by the wildfires. The restoration of Palisades Park is a key part of the broader recovery efforts in the Los Angeles region.
