Becton Dickinson announced on October 15, 2025 that its Chief Financial Officer, Chris DelOrefice, will depart the company effective December 5, 2025 to pursue a new professional opportunity.
DelOrefice, who has served as executive vice president and CFO, will be succeeded on an interim basis by Vitor Roque, senior vice president of finance, business units and corporate financial planning and analysis. Roque has held multiple finance leadership roles across BD for two decades and will oversee the company’s financial operations until a permanent CFO is appointed.
The announcement comes as BD continues to execute its BD 2025 strategy, focusing on portfolio optimization and operational excellence. The company is conducting a search to identify a permanent successor and will provide updates on the transition process in the coming weeks.
