Benchmark Electronics, Inc. announced the successful completion of the delivery of 24 Mobile Vehicle Surveillance Systems with Radar (MVSS-R) for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This delivery was completed on time and within budget, reaffirming Benchmark’s commitment to excellence in advanced surveillance technology.
The MVSS-R platform integrates leading-edge AI-powered sensor fusion and advanced radar technology to deliver situational awareness in dynamic environments. Benchmark’s expertise in complex systems integration enhanced surveillance efficiency and operational effectiveness by coordinating radar, AI-based video analytics, and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor systems. Benchmark is also working with CBP to address emerging needs, such as enabling autonomous surveillance operations.
The program was led by Benchmark Secure Technology, a U.S.-based aerospace and defense focused solutions team within Benchmark. Each MVSS-R unit was designed and assembled in the United States, reinforcing the company’s commitment to domestic production capabilities. The MVSS-R system is also available through GSA Advantage for other U.S. Government agencies.
