BJ's Wholesale Club announced the rollout of Tap & Pay functionality at all 186 BJ's Gas locations across 21 states. This feature allows members to pay for fuel using contactless credit/debit cards or digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
The new system enhances convenience and security for members, aligning with the growing popularity of contactless payment methods. Bill Werner, Executive Vice President, Strategy and Development, noted that this expands BJ's existing contactless options, which include ExpressPay in-club.
For BJ's One® Mastercard® holders, the integration offers a streamlined one-tap experience that simultaneously processes membership and payment, along with additional savings of up to 15¢ off per gallon. This initiative aims to save members time and money at the pump.
