The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation has announced a significant expansion of its iFlow product offering, introducing more extensive fixed income and equity data analytics. This enhancement provides investment managers and asset owners with a unique vantage point into BNY Mellon's vast pool of over $50 trillion in assets under custody and/or administration.
The upgraded iFlow platform can now generate on-demand charts for shorts, holdings, and positioning, complementing its existing flow views. This capability allows for clearer definitions of rotation trade equity, credit, and duration in bonds, ultimately supporting improved benchmark definitions and portfolio construction for clients.
Jason Vitale, Head of Global Markets Trading at BNY Mellon, emphasized that the challenge for clients is no longer accessing vast market data but generating actionable insights. The expanded iFlow capabilities are designed to provide transparency into unexpected market moves and historical market behavior, helping clients better understand global markets and potential vulnerabilities.
