The women's business showed significant strength with a 17.5 percent increase in sales, representing 48.0 percent of total sales, while the men's business increased by 1.0 percent.
Accessory sales increased by 6.0 percent, and footwear sales also increased by 6.0 percent for the fiscal month. The company closed one store in fiscal May, operating 438 retail stores in 42 states.
