Brookfield Asset Management Reports Strong First-Quarter 2025 Profit Growth

Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. reported a significant increase in its first-quarter 2025 profit compared to the prior year. Net income attributable to the company totaled US$581 million, or US$0.36 per diluted share, up from US$441 million, or US$0.28 per diluted share, a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter also rose to US$1.08 billion, compared to US$884 million in the same quarter last year. Distributable earnings for the quarter amounted to US$654 million, or US$0.40 per share, an increase from US$547 million, or US$0.34 per share, in the prior year.

BAM President Connor Teskey noted that the business continues to benefit from deep exposure to global investment megatrends, including artificial intelligence, energy transition, and growth in private credit. Fee-related earnings increased by 26% to $698 million, driven by over $140 billion of capital raised over the past 12 months.
