Box, Inc. and Amazon Web Services (AWS) today announced an expanded strategic partnership aimed at empowering organizations to build new applications and maximize productivity with generative AI. Box customers can now access foundation models directly in Box AI using Amazon Bedrock, starting with Anthropic’s Claude and Amazon Titan. This integration allows companies to quickly and securely build generative AI applications by combining some of the world’s most advanced AI models with their data residing in Box’s Intelligent Content Management platform.
The partnership also introduces a new Box connector for Amazon Q Business, the most capable generative AI assistant for work. This connector enables organizations to gain more intelligence from their data by securely indexing content stored in Box, facilitating quick answers, information summarization, and content generation while maintaining Box’s robust permission controls.
This collaboration is significant as it provides Box customers with flexibility and choice in leveraging leading AI models directly within their content management platform. The integration with Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q Business is expected to unlock new insights and automate workflows across various industries, enhancing Box's Intelligent Content Management platform.
