Bruker Corporation announced on February 18, 2025, the appointment of Laura Francis to its Board of Directors as an independent director, effective immediately. Ms. Francis is also expected to join Bruker’s Audit Committee as a financial expert after the company’s annual shareholder meeting in May 2025.
Ms. Francis brings extensive experience, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and a Board Member of SI-BONE, Inc., a medical device company. She previously held roles as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at SI-BONE, and was also a former CFO of Bruker Corporation.
Frank H. Laukien, Bruker’s Chairman, President, and CEO, stated that Ms. Francis’s experience as a public company medtech CEO, along with her CFO and COO background in life science tools, will be valuable in guiding Bruker’s profitable growth and strategy execution.
