Bruker Corporation announced the launch of its new Ascend Evo™ 700 and 800 NMR superconducting magnets on April 5, 2025, at the Joint ENC-ISMAR Conference 2025. These magnets are designed to expand access to high-field NMR with enhanced sustainability for scientific research and biopharma. The new magnets are more compact, lighter, and consume significantly less helium than previous high-field magnets, with a 40% reduction at 700 MHz and 33% at 800 MHz. This results in increased helium hold times of 240 and 180 days, respectively. Bruker's proprietary, cryogenically cooled shim technology ensures improved field homogeneity and shorter settling times, maximizing uptime. The company also announced an expanded roadmap for ultra-sensitive solid-state NMR at 1.0 GHz, including new CryoProbes and DNP probes.
