Bitdeer Technologies Group announced its unaudited mining and operations updates for May 2025, reporting an increase in its self-mining hashrate to 13.6 EH/s by the end of the month. This growth was driven by the continued deployment of its proprietary SEALMINER mining rigs across its sites in Texas, Norway, and Bhutan.
The company also successfully sold and shipped approximately 1.6 EH/s of its SEALMINER A2s to external customers, demonstrating strong market demand for its hardware. Bitdeer remains on track to achieve over 40 EH/s of self-mining capacity by October 2025, with the SEALMINER A3 series expected to be available for pre-order soon.
In a strategic move, Bitdeer paused Bitcoin mining-related construction at its 570 MW Clarington, Ohio site to advance discussions for High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) opportunities. Infrastructure projects in Tydal, Norway, and Jigmeling, Bhutan, have commenced energization and are expected to be fully online by the end of Q2 and Q3 2025, respectively.
