Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc. announced that the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has awarded it a 15-year roadside Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising concession. This exclusive media contract, effective November 1, 2024, includes over 250 displays on MTA property within the Greater New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut Metro area. CCO will manage all operations and advertising sales for these assets. This new deal significantly expands CCO's presence in the New York tri-state area, adding to its existing portfolio which includes advertising at Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) airports and Times Square signage. The contract covers major metro area roadways such as the Long Island Expressway, Brooklyn Queens Expressway, and I-95. This expansion provides a one-stop shop for local and national brands to reach residents and tourists. Bob McCuin, Chief Revenue Officer, highlighted that this expansion gives CCO a new foothold as an OOH leader in the number one media market globally. The improved ability to enhance offerings in this market is expected to make CCO's sales team's story even more attractive from a national standpoint.
