CETY and Qymera announced a partnership that combines CETY’s heat‑to‑power and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology with Qymera’s DeepFyre monobore wells to deliver modular geothermal units ranging from 5 MW to 50 MW.

The collaboration targets island nations and emerging markets, with pilots planned for the Caribbean and Central America, followed by deployments in Southeast Asia and Africa. The integrated system is designed to reduce drilling costs by up to 30% and cut project development time by nearly 50%.

CETY’s experience with more than 100 ORC installations and Qymera’s resin‑based casings that simplify drilling support the partners’ goal of achieving a levelized cost of electricity below $0.08 per kWh, positioning the system competitively against conventional geothermal and other renewable sources. The partnership expands CETY beyond its waste‑heat recovery and waste‑to‑energy segments and leverages its alliance with Exergy International Srl for advanced heat‑to‑power solutions.

The global geothermal market is projected to grow from roughly $8.75 billion in 2024 to over $12 billion by 2033, with variations across studies but a clear upward trend. The partnership is expected to accelerate adoption in data‑center and AI compute‑center markets that demand reliable baseload power.
