Chefs' Warehouse announced on November 13, 2025 that it has selected RELEX Solutions, a provider of unified supply‑chain and retail planning solutions, to optimize forecasting and replenishment across its 49 distribution centers.

The partnership focuses on fresh‑food categories, aiming to improve product availability, reduce waste, and unify planning across the network. By leveraging RELEX's AI‑driven forecasting tools, CHEF intends to increase inventory accuracy and streamline replenishment cycles.

This move aligns with CHEF's broader strategy of investing in technology to drive operational efficiency and support continued growth. The partnership complements recent acquisitions of GreenLeaf and Hardie's Fresh Foods and builds on a digital platform that already drives over 60% of specialty orders online, reinforcing the company’s competitive advantage in the specialty food distribution market.

The implementation of RELEX solutions is expected to strengthen CHEF's ability to meet the demands of its affluent, high‑end customer base—restaurants, hotels, country clubs, and fine food retailers—while maintaining cost discipline and improving margins through reduced spoilage and better inventory management.

"We're focused on driving greater efficiency and consistency across our fast‑moving, fresh‑driven supply chain. RELEX brings the expertise and tools we need to unify planning across our network and support our long‑term growth," said Ken Klauser, VP of Supply Chain and Pricing. Frank Lord, Chief Revenue Officer at RELEX, added, "Chefs' Warehouse operates in one of the most demanding segments of food distribution, where accuracy and speed are critical. Our deep capabilities in fresh food planning, combined with a strong track record and broad customer base in food wholesale, gave them the confidence that we could deliver at scale and help them reach their operational goals."
