CollPlant Biotechnologies announced on September 30, 2025, positive results from its non-clinical program evaluating its photocurable dermal filler. This novel filler integrates contouring precision, structural support, and tissue regeneration into a single treatment, representing a significant breakthrough in aesthetic medicine.

The non-clinical program included a comprehensive set of safety and performance evaluations, notably a one-year in vivo study confirming long-term durability and biocompatibility assessments that complied with international standards. These combined results establish a strong foundation for clinical advancement.

CollPlant is now preparing to advance this product candidate into clinical trials and is scaling and optimizing its manufacturing process to ensure readiness. The filler combines hyaluronic acid with a modified form of rhCollagen, administered as a viscoelastic gel that is then stabilized by light activation into a semi-solid, cohesive implant.
