CME Group and the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) announced a two-year extension of the CME Group Tour Championship and the season-long Race to the CME Globe through 2027. This extension continues CME Group's long-standing support for LPGA Tour athletes, which began in 2011. The partnership enhances CME Group's brand visibility globally. The 2024 CME Group Tour Championship will feature an enhanced total purse of $11 million, including a historic $4 million first-place prize. This represents the largest single prize in the history of women's golf, underscoring CME Group's commitment to elevating women's sports. The runner-up will receive $1 million. CME Group Chairman and CEO Terry Duffy stated that the company is proud to build on its commitment to women's golf, helping the sport grow to over 7 million women golfers. The partnership also supports St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through the 'Score 1 for St. Jude' campaign, having donated over $4.5 million since 2018. This initiative aligns with CME Group's corporate social responsibility efforts.
