Cummins Inc. reported second-quarter 2025 revenues of $8.6 billion, a 2% decrease from the same quarter in 2024. Net income attributable to Cummins was $890 million, or $6.43 per diluted share, compared to $726 million, or $5.26 per diluted share, in Q2 2024.
EBITDA for the second quarter was $1.6 billion, representing 18.4% of sales, an increase from $1.3 billion, or 15.3% of sales, a year ago. The Power Systems and Distribution segments achieved record profitability, driven by robust demand for power generation equipment.
Despite strong segment performance, Cummins maintained its decision not to reinstate a full-year outlook for revenue or profitability due to continued economic and regulatory uncertainty. The company anticipates a sharp decline in North America truck build rates starting in the third quarter, although aftermarket demand for parts and service remains stable.
