The Centene Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Centene Corporation, announced a three-year partnership with the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). The Foundation will invest $3 million to strengthen Community Health Centers (CHCs) nationwide.
This commitment aims to enhance value-based care adoption and improve maternal and child health outcomes in CHCs, which serve approximately one in five Medicaid members. The partnership will launch with a national value-based care adoption strategy, including an annual survey and tailored learning curriculum.
Additionally, the initiative will establish a Maternal Health Innovation Exchange to reduce racial, ethnic, and geographic disparities in maternal and child health outcomes. This strategic collaboration underscores Centene's focus on addressing social determinants of health and improving care delivery for underserved populations.
