CONMED Corporation announced the appointment of LaVerne Council as the new Independent Chair of its Board of Directors, effective May 21, 2025. Ms. Council succeeds Martha Goldberg Aronson, who will continue to serve as a Director on the Board.
Ms. Council's extensive experience as a global operations and information technology executive has been invaluable to CONMED, and her expertise is expected to continue serving the Board and the Company well in her new leadership role.
This change in Board Chair reflects CONMED’s commitment to refreshing its Board and Committee Chairs through periodic rotations. Ms. Council expressed her commitment to working closely with the Board and leadership team to execute the Company’s long-term strategy.
