Coherent Corp. announced on 24 September 2025 that it has introduced a new family of quad‑channel integrated circuits for high‑speed optical transceivers. The lineup includes the CHR2075 4‑channel driver for silicon photonics Mach‑Zehnder modulators, the CHR1094 4‑channel differential transimpedance amplifier, and the CHR2094 Mach‑Zehnder modulator driver amplifier, all aimed at 400G ZR/ZR+ and 800G/1.6T pluggable modules. Each IC incorporates a 10‑bit monitoring ADC and is fully controllable via a 4‑wire SPI interface, delivering lower power consumption and higher efficiency for cloud, AI, and telecom applications. Samples of all three products are available immediately, with full production releases scheduled for November 2025 (CHR1094 and CHR2094) and December 2025 (CHR2075). Coherent will showcase the new ASICs at ECOC 2025 in booth C3124, where industry participants can view live demonstrations and engage with technical experts. The open‑market availability of these chips is intended to accelerate the adoption of 400G and 800G technologies, supporting the company’s strategy to dominate the AI data‑center and high‑speed networking markets.
