Costco Wholesale Corporation reported strong financial results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, which ended September 1, 2025, surpassing Wall Street expectations for both earnings and revenue. Net income rose to $2.61 billion, or $5.87 per diluted share, while full-year revenue totaled $275.24 billion, an 8.1% increase year-over-year.

Q4 comparable sales increased 6.4% globally, excluding the impacts from gas prices and foreign exchange. E-commerce sales continued their robust growth trajectory, rising 13.5% in Q4 and exceeding $19.6 billion for the full year, representing a 15% year-over-year increase. Membership fee income jumped 14% in Q4, partly due to the fee increase implemented last fall.

The company's physical expansion also continued, with 27 new warehouses opened in fiscal year 2025, including three relocations. Looking ahead, Costco plans to open another 35 warehouses in the coming fiscal year, including five relocations, signaling confidence in its long-term growth strategy and market penetration.
