Freightos Limited has added Thai freighter operator Pattaya Airways to its WebCargo platform, creating instant digital booking and payment access for freight forwarders across Southeast Asia. The partnership launches on the Bangkok‑Ho Chi Minh City route and will extend to additional destinations in Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos as the carrier expands its network.
The collaboration gives freight forwarders a new regional carrier that can deliver cargo in under 24 hours between major ASEAN hubs. Pattaya Airways, which began operations in 2023 with ATR 72‑500 aircraft, currently serves Yangon, Phnom Pheng, Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. By integrating its fleet into WebCargo, Freightos can offer more competitive rates and greater transparency for time‑critical shipments, while Pattaya gains a global digital marketplace and access to Freightos’ growing customer base.
Freightos’ Q3 2025 results underscore the strategic value of the partnership. Revenue rose 24% year‑over‑year to $7.7 million, driven by a 27% increase in transactions to 429,000. Gross booking value grew 54% to $336 million, and IFRS gross margin expanded to 69.1% from 65.0% in Q3 2024. The company’s net loss widened to $5.0 million, largely due to higher warrant valuation, but adjusted EBITDA improved to –$2.6 million from –$2.8 million. These figures demonstrate that Freightos is scaling its platform while tightening operational leverage, positioning the company closer to breakeven as it adds new carriers like Pattaya.
CEO Zvi Schreiber said the partnership “is another step toward making global trade smoother and more responsive.” He added that Thailand’s growing role in regional trade makes instant digital access to carriers like Pattaya essential for forwarders building agile supply chains. CFO Pablo Pinillos highlighted that the partnership supports Freightos’ goal of achieving profitability by 2026, noting that the company’s improved gross margins and transaction growth give it the financial flexibility to invest in new markets.
The Pattaya Airways integration aligns with Freightos’ broader strategy of expanding multimodal solutions and deepening its vendor‑neutral marketplace. By adding a regional carrier, Freightos can offer a more comprehensive network to its customers, strengthen its competitive position against rivals such as BingEx and Radiant Logistics, and accelerate adoption of digital freight booking in a high‑growth region. The partnership also signals Freightos’ commitment to delivering faster booking capabilities, greater transparency, and seamless connectivity for freight forwarders across Southeast Asia.
