Datadog, Inc. announced a partnership with Chainguard on March 25, 2025, to strengthen container security and observability. This collaboration aims to combine container observability with clear, prioritized actions to help engineering and security teams eliminate common vulnerabilities and exploits (CVEs).
Through a new Chainguard dashboard integrated within Datadog, customers will gain real-time insights into container risks and receive remediation recommendations. This integration is designed to accelerate software delivery while simultaneously reducing security threats in the software supply chain.
Bharat Sajnani, Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Development and Platform at Datadog, stated that the integration allows customers to identify CVE risks within their container infrastructure and seamlessly pinpoint alternatives. This partnership empowers companies to build software more securely and efficiently from the start.
